Purple, Purple, Purple! New Years Look?

I've fallen in love with purple over the past few weeks. It was never really my 'favourite' colour, but I've started to appreciate how gorgeous of a colour it really is!

I didn't have anywhere to go (i.e: why I'm not dressed up in the pictures, sorry!) but I felt like experimenting with purples, and this is what I came up with. In the first few pictures I have purple/pink lipstick on. I like this lip colour for a much more mature/sophisticated look. I then switched my lipstick to a nude, almost baby pink lip colour. I personally like the nude lips since I feel as though they give more attention to the eyes! What do you think? This is probably going to be my New Years look! I'll definitely upload this as a blog or YouTube tutorial whenever I get the chance!

Here's where I made the switch to nude lips:

Excuse the duck lips. It just happened to be that my not-so-serious photo
turned out to be the best one in terms of showing off the true colours of the lip colour!

Hope you guys liked this look as much as I did! Let me know if you have any questions, comments or suggestions!

OOTD: Business Attire

Hello!

I know it's been quite some time. How are you guys doing? I've been distracted from my blog because of my crazy school schedule which fortunately just came to an end. I'm definitely looking forward to posting a lot more!

This particular outfit of the day is something I wore to do a presentation for my Business Communications class. The pictures aren't the greatest quality (they were taken with my macbook camera), but I'll hopefully get the chance to take better pictures of the pieces later on this week. I wanted the look to be business appropriate but not overdone. I considered wearing a blazer, but opted against it since the blouse did well on its own.

E-Store

E-Store is up. Merchandise is still being added, but so far I have some dresses up. Take a look and let me know what you guys think.

September 15, 2011

Meet Courtney. This is her outfit of the day, appropriate for a night out with friends, or perhaps even a date night. It's simple, feminine, and effortlessly beautiful.

E-Store, Perhaps?

How would you all feel about a Livid Euphoria E-Store? I was thinking of selling my clothes and shoes that I don't wear anymore and also a section selling brand new, fashion forward merchandise for a much more affordable price?

I'd of course look into reasonable shipping rates for inside Canada and outside as well, for international readers and buyers.

Some examples of the clothing (not used or personally mine) that I would sell would be these:

Blazer/Jacket
You'd pay $25 USD (not including shipping) rather than the actual retail price of $35+

Bottoms
(available in black/blue/brown)
You'd pay $15 USD (not including tax) rather than actual retail price of $25+.

Those are just two of the items I would consider selling through my online shop if you ladies/gents would want 'em! I realize currency differences are such a pain in the butt, especially for European buyers/readers, but I don't plan on hiking prices up for any of you! :) Payments would probably be accepted via PayPal, unless there's another convenient way which in that case, let me know!

So let me know what you all think and send me your suggestion/feedback on what kind of clothing you'd like to see being sold, sizes preferred, styles, where you'd like them shipped, and even tell me your take on pricing! Should it be higher, lower, or is the pricing fair?

I'd love to know!

OOTD: Daytime Date

Hey lovelies!

School has officially started up once again, unfortunately. However, I am fortunate enough to be able to once again spend more time with one of my super fabulous friend, Courtney. Courtney shares a similar love for fashion as I do, so you can bet that it's always fun to play around in her closet! We both decided (after a long day of class) that we'd make two videos on what you can wear to a daytime date such as a lunch, and a evening date such as dinner and a movie. Creative freedom was given to Courtney and she obviously pulled it off without a hitch! I rocked the daytime date look she put together. I'll be putting together a evening date look in the near future so definitely be on the lookout! ;)

OOTD: Saree

So this isn't really an outfit of the day, it's more of an outfit of the night. Since I am of South Indian origin, there's always family events (such as weddings) that require dressing up in traditional attire, which in my case is a saree/sari.

My cousin got married on Wednesday and last night was her wedding reception. This is what I wore to the event. It's always nice dressing up. I'm not entirely sure where I picked up this sari, but they are available in Indian/Tamil sari shops and online at web stores such as CBazaar.

OOTD: Curvy Girl Edition with Naffy

Here is Naffy's outfit of the day. This look is perfect for a semi-casual night out with the girls since it falls in between casual with the jeans and a little dressy with the blazer and heels. I think it's safe to say that Naffy definitely pulled this outfit off. Tutorial for the makeup she's wearing can be found here. Enjoy!

* Thank you ladies for the love. All comments will definitely be passed on to Naffy! :)

After my last OOTD, I realized that I don't wear out or play with blue eyeshadows enough. It's such a fun and bright colour with a vase number of shades to it that I decided I would go ahead and experiment with a few blue eyeshadows I own. This is one of the quick looks I came up with. Unfortunately there aren't any full face pictures since I was only playing with my eye makeup and my face was left bare.

What do you guys think? It's definitely not an everyday daytime look, but it would work perfectly for a night out all dolled up, right?

I think I might just do a tutorial on this, just for future reference for myself as well! It'll be up in the next week or so. List of products and what I used below until then. Cheers! :)

- L'Oreal HIP Duo in Showy
- Annabelle single e/s in 110
- MAC e/s (I forget the name, sorry!)
- Annabelle liquid eyeliner in Black Out
- CoverGirl Volume Exact mascara
- Annabelle white pencil eyeliner in Milkyway

OOTD: Girls Night Out

Last night was titled a Girls Night Out with my best friend. We headed to downtown Toronto but once we got there things kind of didn't go as plan, so we ended up having dinner at a wing joint named Puck'N Wings.

Since my best friend and I don't normally get the chance to dress up a little when we go out, we took this night as an opportunity to play a little dress up, but still toned down enough to not look semi-formal. The almost cobalt blue dress I ended up wearing seemed a bit too dressy for my liking, but the addition of the cardigan toned it down just enough. It definitely wasn't a high heel type of night (with all the buses and subways we decided to take!) so I chose to wear my pointed toe flats which I absolutely love and bought for a bargain of $15 dollars last year.

OOTD: Cheetah Jumper

For today's outfit of the day, I opted for the bright yellow jumper that I had recently purchased from Winners. It's a little out there and something I wouldn't normally go for, but what the heck right? I paired it with some black heels to make it a little dressy. My makeup was kept very basic with just some mascara, eyeliner, and a bit of bronzer. I left my hair natural and curly to add a little more 'fun' into the outfit! It only seemed appropriate. ;)
