Purple, Purple, Purple! New Years Look?

I've fallen in love with purple over the past few weeks. It was never really my 'favourite' colour, but I've started to appreciate how gorgeous of a colour it really is!

I didn't have anywhere to go (i.e: why I'm not dressed up in the pictures, sorry!) but I felt like experimenting with purples, and this is what I came up with. In the first few pictures I have purple/pink lipstick on. I like this lip colour for a much more mature/sophisticated look. I then switched my lipstick to a nude, almost baby pink lip colour. I personally like the nude lips since I feel as though they give more attention to the eyes! What do you think? This is probably going to be my New Years look! I'll definitely upload this as a blog or YouTube tutorial whenever I get the chance!

Here's where I made the switch to nude lips:

Excuse the duck lips. It just happened to be that my not-so-serious photo
turned out to be the best one in terms of showing off the true colours of the lip colour!

Hope you guys liked this look as much as I did! Let me know if you have any questions, comments or suggestions!

A special thank you to my friend Naffy who agreed to be my model for the day. Keep a lookout for her OOTD later on this week!

After my last OOTD, I realized that I don't wear out or play with blue eyeshadows enough. It's such a fun and bright colour with a vase number of shades to it that I decided I would go ahead and experiment with a few blue eyeshadows I own. This is one of the quick looks I came up with. Unfortunately there aren't any full face pictures since I was only playing with my eye makeup and my face was left bare.

What do you guys think? It's definitely not an everyday daytime look, but it would work perfectly for a night out all dolled up, right?

I think I might just do a tutorial on this, just for future reference for myself as well! It'll be up in the next week or so. List of products and what I used below until then. Cheers! :)
