I'm not one to wear a lot of pinks. In fact, I don't think I really own a solid pink article of clothing. Because of that, pinks aren't something I use often in my makeup looks. However, soft pinks and gold make a pretty sweet look, perfect for those who want something soft and flirty, and even for those summer date nights!
Products Used:
1. Avon e/s in Rose Gold
2. A medium pink coloured e/s (Green)
3. A darker pink coloured e/s with shimmer (Blue)
4. MAC e/s in Shroom
5. Annabelle black eye kohl
6. Maybelline mascara in The Falsies Volum' Express
7. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Dark
8. Revlon Colorstay blush in Roseberry
9. Rimmel lipstick in Birthday Suit
Eyes:
First apply a primer to your eyes. I just used a random concealer, they work just fine. Apply Rose Gold to your entire lid, stopping just before the crease. Then apply the medium shade of pink e/s to the outer half of your lids, also taking it into the crease. Blend as you go. Follow that by taking the darker shade of pink e/s and blend it into the crease to make it appear slightly more deeper than it is. I then used a little bit of Shroom to highlight with and decided not to line the top parts of my lid. Lining them would have made them a bit too dramatic for the look I'm going for, so I decided to tightline, followed by softly lining my waterline with a black eyeliner. Finally for the eyes, apply mascara.
Face:
Apply your foundation of choice. I decided not to go that heavy with foundation and opted for MAC's Mineralize Skinfinish in Dark. Apply a rosy blush to the apples of your cheeks. I went with Roseberry by Revlon which is a beautiful mineral blush!
Lips:
To keep up with the minimal theme, I chose Birthday Suit by Rimmel for my lip colour. From what I hear, they've discontinued the lipstick, so any nude colour will work fine.
And that's it! A very simple but pretty look that requires just a few minutes to complete. Feel free to leave a comment with any questions or suggestions!
